This year at Mistover the radish seeds Rob planted are popping up every day. If you have never tasted a radish straight from the soil, you are missing a treat! They grow easily in small areas and children will love helping to plant and pick them.

Radish
Our garden radish springs from soil
so fast you think it’s planning to somersault
straight on your plate.
Crisp and ruby red,
nothing beats the first summer crunch
of fresh-picked radish,
that peppery moment of knowing.
